Shocker! Vigilante Officer Kill Girl friend For Ritual,  Dumps Body In Gutter

A 33-year-old unidentified lady from Umuayala Egbu, in the Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo State, has been murdered by her boyfriend, Mr. Chinonye Nwaneri.

    The deceased, whose name was not known as at the time of filing this report, was killed by her lover and dumped her lifeless body in a gutter.

     According to a resident who preffered to remain anonymous, told this newspaper that Mr. Nwaneri, a local Security officer, at Madumere street, Owerri,  lured his lover to area last Friday and killed her at the middle of the night, dumped her body in the gutter.

    “Nwaneri is presently in the Police net. He confessed of his involvement in the crime having ran away and was tracked”.

     When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Imo State Command, ASP Henry Okoye, disclosed that the suspect is still in Police Custody and that it intends to carry out autopsy to ascertain the cause of death of the victim.

  ” The suspect will be arraigned in court on completion of a comprehensive investigation”.
