“I Won’t React Now Over My Baby’s Alleged Resemblance” – Mercy Chinwo

  Nigerian gospel musician, Mercy Chinwo, said, she is busy now to react over serries of insinuations making the rounds on social media that her newly-born baby resembles Nathaniel Bassey, a Music Minister and  Pastor of the Youth wing in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

    When contacted, on Easter Monday, April 1st, 2024, through a mobile telephone call, A verified  Mercy Chinwo’s Personal Assistant(PA), who could not mention her name, perhaps, for security purposes, told Daily Nigerian Telegraph, that her Boss, Mercy Chiwo, could not speak on the issue as at time of filing this report.

   It would be recalled, that the Rivers-born singer recently posted pictures of her husband and their son on Facebook of which have made some people alleging that the baby has a striking resemblance with a popular gospel singer.

    Efforts made by this medium to speak one on one with mother of the baby, Mercy Chiwo, proved abortive as she was said to not disposed to speak to  Journalists.

   Meanwhile, a middle-aged man, Okoronkwo Ejikeme, had earlier accused the Gospel Singer of having a sexual aƒƒair with his colleague, Nathaniel Bassey, alleging that her baby  resembles the Trumpeter.

 “This is the true face of Mercy Chinwo’s child she was hiding after giving birth But the truth is that this little baby looks exactly like Singer Nathaniel Bassey”, he alleged.

    Also, group of people have knocked Okoronkwo and others for insinuating that that Chinwo’s baby looks like Bassy instead of Blessed, the father, describing it as works of detractors.
