The Celestial Church of Christ, Owerri Central Parish (Rescue Centre), located at No: 12 old Nekede road, was agog, last Wednesday, 25th September, 2024, as its new edifice, single -handedly built by The Shepherd in charge, Superior Evang. Anyiam Chukwumaeze Donatus was dedicated to God.
In an interview with the media, the Donor, Superior Chukwumaeze Anyiam, said, he felt fulfilled to had built for God, saying that the time he started the project, he had no money to begin, pointing out that God, in his infinite mercy, proved himself as a miracle worker.
“God told me to demolish the old building that he was going to provide the resources needed for its accomplishment. Today, it is a dream that has been achieved. “
The Shepherd in charge said, that the project, which gulped over Two Hundred Million (200,000,000) Naira, was accomplished with the assistance of his son , whom, according to him, was kind enough to contribute towards the project.
He used the opportunity to advise the Celestial faithful to be dedicated to the things of God.
Earlier in his words of exhortation at the ceremony, The priest in charge of Edo State, Superior Thomas Benson, appreciated God for the dedication of the .Parish, Emmanuel cathedral, built by Prophet Anyiam.
“God told David, you can’t build my house, but he gave the grace to Solomon to build it. We are giving glory to God. He has used his servant build for himself.
He continued, “All is to give glory to God. Building for him brings blessings to the builder. Because he is building it for God, but doing so for him.
He therefore enjoined the congregation to always worship God in truth and in spirit in order to attract his mercies and grace.
Also speaking, Prophet Paul Mayaki, said, he was shocked to that the Church was single-handedly built by the Shepherd in charge and prayed God for blessing upon his life.
Wife of the Shepherd in charge, , Mother Celestina Anyiam, in her reaction, said she was excited over the starting and completion of their church building.
She commended he husband, Superior Evang. Anyiam for bringing out his resources to build for God and prayed Almighty to bless him bountifully.
